30XX - A new way to play melee!
I made a balance patch for melee only buffing characters up to Dr. Mario in the tier list with a few exceptions. (I go off of Armada’s most recent tier list) My Melee balance philosophy is that everyone wants to see a more varied competitive scene so hopefully this will be the solution. You can transfer the character files manually by importing using DAT Texture Wizard which is required if you want the files in your 20XX iso, you could also load a melee iso on Crazy hand go to file then “Load Character” (Just make sure you save after each load, then swap to the next character and repeat the process) I also attached a text document labeled "FSM" which stands for frame speed modifiers, if for some reason these aren't already being used from within the character files you could put a vanilla melee iso in Crazy Hand, go to the "Frame Speed Modifiers" tab on the top left corner (It will say "attributes" originally) and import using that file! I really hope you guys enjoy this mod I put A LOT of time into balancing everybody in a way I felt was interesting! Oh btw credit to Itaru; I used his character files as a base for Bowser and Ganondorf due to me not knowing how to add moves to a character file otherwise XD
Version 1.3.1 for Super Smash Bros. Melee Super Smash Bros. Melee
Released on 2019-04-18
Gave Ness' bat more base knockback to compensate for the lower damage on the closer hits along with a small but necessary knockback buff to his Up and Down Smash just to give them some kinda use at least, changed Ganon's hit 2 Down Smash to have Captain Falcon's launch angle.
Version 1.3 for Super Smash Bros. Melee Super Smash Bros. Melee
Released on 2019-04-15
Changed Dash Dances for a few characters, overhauled Mewtwo, tried to achieve "balance" on some remote level. Got closer to giving Mewtwo a proper Dash Dance, made Zelda barely usable so you aren't too screwed if you accidently press down B! Shortened Roy's grab range slightly. Fixed the glitch that allowed Mewtwo to use Side B to drag the opponent through and under the stage, changed launch angle on Luigi's nair to Sakurai angle, swapped Yoshi and Luigi's F-tilt launch angles, made the angle of Mario's Fireball better in more situations, along with various other changes.
Version 1.2.5 for Super Smash Bros. Melee Super Smash Bros. Melee
Released on 2019-04-10
Link and Young Link can now Dash Dance, rebalanced weight classes, fixed a few mistakes. Yada yada yada. Changed Bowser's Down B 20 -> 18 and lowered Bowser and Ganon's weight. (Never thought I'd be nerfing them lol) Along with probably 40 other new changes I can't think of off the top of my head!
Version 1.2.2 for Super Smash Bros. Melee Super Smash Bros. Melee
Released on 2019-04-06
Removed Wobbling by making Nana's grab hitbox the size of an in-game pimple. Planning to adjust Ice Climbers further in the future, maybe by making Nana's AI as smart as it can be from 0% (It would normally become smarter as Popo gets higher %). Adjusted various small/wonky hitboxes.
